at Air Mod is a complete cabin clean-up followed by
corrosion proofing, a task which is becoming increasingly critical
today, and which should not be ignored during the interior renovation
process. All interior materials used, whether leather, vinyl, fabric,
carpeting,
insulation
or foam,
meet
or exceed
FAA
standards for flammability.
Additionally, the materials from which you make your
selections are of the highest possible quality, ensuring the long term
benefit
you should expect from a shop like ours. We pioneered
the study of ergonomics in aircraft seating, and have been
at the forefront in the design and installation of custom instrument
panels, ventilation system upgrades, passenger restraints,
cabin noise control and other modifications.

The
photos you'll see on our site are typical of the remarkable transformation
you can expect with an AIR
MOD renovation. Even more important, however, is
what you don't see. The thorough approach we undertake in this
endeavor
involves an extraordinary amount of effort, all well-researched
and highly engineered. From the firewall to the aft cabin bulkhead,
every
effort is made to bring your aircraft's interior to a better-than-new
standard. The steps we follow in fabricating a seat, for instance,
involve techniques
usually
not
executed
at the
factory
or
other shops.
These methods ensure long-lasting, ergonomically correct results
that are the hallmark of an AIR
MOD interior. It is not uncommon for a former customer
to visit our hangar with a ten-year-old job that looks as though
it had just recently been completed. Additionally, if you have
your interior done at AIR
MOD we will be happy to provide you with
a professionally designed exterior paint scheme at no charge.
Our
customers come to us with all types of airplanes and from all areas
